STORAGE

About Storage

Treated water storage (Reservoir) is an essential component of a water treatment plant that ensures a continuous and reliable supply of clean and safe water to meet the needs of a community or region. There are three purpose of reservoir:

• Supply Resilience: Provide a buffer to meet peak demand periods, emergencies, or interruptions in the treatment process or water source availability.

• Distribution Stability: Maintain consistent water pressure throughout the distribution network by balancing variations in demand and supply.

• Treatment Plant Efficiency: Allow treatment plant to operate continuously, even when the demand is lower than the treatment capacity, reducing energy and operational costs.
